Per iMedia, the Rising Agency Stars award criteria awards:

Honor those who are making a contribution to their agencies and clients that’s well beyond what’s expected at this stage of their careers. Nominees should have spent fewer than 5 years in the agency business and a demonstrated track record of defining, recommending, selling through, and delivering transformative marketing programs that drive extraordinary results. Rising Stars should be natural leaders who help clients innovate, empower their agency teams to do great work, and are committed to being a vital member of their clients’ teams.

“Jay began his SEM career in 2010 at eSearchVision and saw his career take off after his move to 3Q Digital,” SVP of Client Services Brian Grabowski said. “He has been promoted three times, most recently into the role of Sr. Director of Client Services in January of 2015. He currently manages a 27 person organization overseeing work across all disciplines including paid search, paid social and programmatic display, totaling nearly $80MM of digital media spend annually. His deep knowledge of advanced paid search strategy, along with his ability to train future stars, has allowed him to meet every challenge that has been set in front of him.”
