Get to know Ada Pally, Senior Director of Account Services working remotely from Canada for 3Q Digital.
What’s the first metric you check when you start the day?
Bandwidth. My main concern is that our teams are performing their best for our clients, and to do that they need time the support of a great team and time to effectively execute. For me, that KPI is bandwidth.
What is your favorite advertising campaign?
I’ve always admired Rolex campaigns. They’ve been able to stay true to their brand but achieve diversity in their execution while appealing to a huge demographic. It’s flawless.
What one quality do you think is most important in successful digital marketers today?
Drive. This industry moves so fast, if you arent hungry, you get left behind really quickly.
What is your favorite thing to brag about at 3Q?
This list is so long. I often brag about the things that are rare, like our unlimited PTO and our WFH policy. More importantly, though, I brag about the fact that 3Q is a place where you can create the career you want for yourself. There are so few limits here; if you want it, we will do everything we can to facilitate success.
What does 3Q’s culture mean to you?
I know its cliche, but if i had to define our culture in one word, I would say “unique.” I say that because each of our offices has its own singular atmosphere, each of our ‘pods/tracks’ has a distinct culture, and each account team serves their client in an exceptional way. This is mirrored in the fact that we treat each client relationship as a particular, individual challenge and build our partnerships based on the needs of that relationship alone. This is a challenge from a training, consistency, and scalability perspective, but we do it really well and it’s a big part of what makes us great.
Which of 3Q’s core values is most important to you, and why?
Treat everyone like a client.
What is your motivation to come into work every day?
My team and our clients. It’s so gratifying to facilitate building fulfilling careers while growing awesome companies.
What trips have you gone on/do you plan to go on with your unlimited PTO?
If I’m not traveling for work (which is a lot; I’m writing this on a plane), I’m traveling for fun. I recently enjoyed a cycling trip in Croatia, a hiking trip in Newfoundland, and a canoeing trip in Quebec. I have Vancouver, Roatan, Jamaica, Buenos Aires, and Mongolia itineraries planned right now.
Would you rather fight 100 duck sized horses, or one horse sized duck?
100 tiny horses are the stuff dreams are made of. Good dreams.
What is on your bucket list?
It’s pretty long. Whats the word limit for this post?
What’s your favorite thing on your desk?
Technically, my favorite thing is under my desk. My dog is always at my feet while I’m working. He’s the best.
What is your favorite thing to do outside of work?
At a high level, spend time outside. I love to hike, cycle, canoe, snowboard, and create random adventures. If I had to pick one activity though, it would be to ride my horses. They’re my sanity and my go-to when I need balance and clarity.
