What’s the first metric you check when you start the day?

You could consider it Organic SERP Volatility, but it’s a decent idea to keep an eye on SERP monitors to see if any fluctuations are noticed across a wider industry.

What’s one metric you rarely bother to check?

Keyword-level traffic data (organic). But let’s be honest, that’s only because it doesn’t really exist anymore.

What is your favorite advertising campaign?

The Million-Dollar Homepage.

What one quality do you think is most important in successful digital marketers today?

The ability to create a relationship between the agency and the client.


What advice do you have for someone who wants to work at 3Q? 

Create a space for yourself. If there’s something you want to do, a relevant task or milestone you’d like to accomplish – own it. Take it upon yourself to carve out a reason for you being a positive force instead of a neutral one.

Which of 3Q’s core values is most important to you, and why? 

XQ (eXecution Quotient). At the end of the day, you can be as intelligent as you are, or as emotionally connected – but if you’re not executing on promises delivered, then you’ll quickly wear down the patience for IQ and EQ you have with your [boss/client/peers].
