As the holidays approach, most businesses are looking to end 2013 on a high note. Social media channels should be no exception to this. Below are 5 tips to make your holidays successful and give your Facebook page a boost going into 2014.
1. Plan the Predictable
The holidays are a great time to create a content calendar because there are a number of events you can prepare for. By creating your content in advance, it will give you more time to focus on your ad campaigns. This holiday season will most likely be the biggest yet for Facebook advertising. For a joyful holiday, limit your distractions so you can focus on your ads.
2. Anticipate the Unpredictable
Whether your fans are over the river or through the woods, it’s no secret that schedules are hectic during the holidays. These odd schedules can throw off your Facebook post’s impressions and engagement. You can buffer this unpredictability with Facebook advertising. By advertising your post over an extended period, you can ensure impressions even if your fans can only check their News Feed once or twice a day.

Holidays are popular; expect nearly every brand to create posts about them. On any given holiday, active Facebook users will be hammered with holiday posts throughout the day.
