Get to know Sana Ansari, San Diego office resident and VP of Media Operations at 3Q Digital.
What is your favorite advertising campaign?
I have a new favorite – Breyers Gelato Indulgences because it speaks directly to me and as a parent, I fully relate:
What one quality do you think is most important in successful digital marketers today?
Drive. I honestly believe if you have a ton of drive & motivation to grow in this industry – you will have a do what it takes attitude and will figure out a way to make things work – whether it be learning and adapting to the constant changes in the industry, being as creative as possible in developing unique strategies to meet client goals or showing ownership over your accounts by keeping an eye on performance during off hours. We are all capable, the most successful people in this industry are the ones who have the drive to continue to push forward, take further ownership, and want to continuously grow.
What is your favorite thing to brag about at 3Q?
I have 2 favorites that I ALWAYS brag to people about – culture and opportunity. I’ve been at a few different companies prior to 3Q and I have never seen a company that cares as much about making their employees happy and providing a positive environment the way 3Q does. We also happen to hire amazing people that really bring our culture to life. Career opportunity is another one. If you do great work and, live by our core values – the sky is the limit here at 3Q.
Who is the unsung hero of your team?
Jen Stanisa. We recently had a huge influx of hires within a span of a couple of months. She was literally on the phone for hours a day training these new hires. This was on top of all of her other responsibilities and training existing employees. She sets the tone for a positive learning experience for new hires and is extremely passionate about it!
What is your motivation to come into work every day?
The people here are just amazing. The San Diego office is basically like a family (see family portrait below) – we genuinely enjoy each other’s company.
What has been your favorite perk item/activity?
We’ve had some pretty amazing perk activities in SD, from the zoo to a large party on a boat. Believe it or not, my favorite perk activity was a simple BBQ potluck we had a couple of months ago. It was nice to hang out in a casual environment and catch up with the team here. Also, there was a milkshake bar. Yup, pretty sure that plays a big factor as well 😀
Hot dogs or hamburgers?
Burgers. One of the very first things we bought when we moved to SD was a grill. We BBQ burgers on a weekly basis!
What is your favorite thing to do outside of work?
Biking around San Diego. There are so many great bike paths here that are easily accessible, its a great way to relax and clear your mind after work. Plus, my kids absolutely love it.
