Take some time to get to know Brian Grabowski, SVP of Client Services at 3Q Digital, working out of our San Francisco office.
What’s the first thing you check when you start the day?
Email! I always want to know if we have any problems with existing clients or employees in the client services organization.
If you had $10M to personally invest, which marketing platform or technology would you invest in, and why?
I still think Facebook is still just scratching the surface of what they can do. Rolling out advertising on Instagram puts them in the pole position for an advertising world that is shifting to mobile devices.
What is your favorite advertising campaign?
I loved the campaigns for Corona with the people just staring at ocean from the beach. I also thought the original Dollar Shave Club video was brilliant.
What one quality do you think is most important in successful digital marketers today?
Fluency with data and the ability to constantly embrace change.
Who is the unsung hero of your team?
Todd Mintz – I believe he really embraces all five of the core values of the company.
Care to share your favorite spot to work from home?
I prefer the coffee shop with a pour-over coffee and a slice of banana bread.
What advice do you have for someone who wants to work at 3Q?
Do your homework on our company and the industry in general. Be enthusiastic that you believe 3Q can help you progress in your career.
Which of 3Q’s core values is most important to you, and why?
Own it! Every growing company needs people who are willing to jump into things that nobody else is dealing with and get ’em done.
Which 3Q value do you most embody, and how do you embody it?
Act For The Greater Good – the most important thing I can do in my job is give my organization the tools they need to be successful and empower them whenever possible. Calling out and rewarding the right behavior is essential.
What is your motivation to come into work every day?
I really do love my job. I find working in a team environment to be very inspiring.
