What one quality do you think is most important in successful digital marketers today?
Patience. Marketing is fast-paced, and clients wants results right away. But to be successful, you need to think holistically and be patient about it. Results do not happen overnight; they require time.
What is your favorite thing to brag about at 3Q?
Flexibility with time and working from home (remotely) is what makes 3Q awesome, and it’s one of the most valuable benefits/perks that any company can offer.
Care to share your favorite spot to work from home?
I love working on the kitchen island. It’s high enough to be a standing work station, has a lot of natural lighting, and I have easy access to food. Plus, the kitchen is basically my favorite place.
Which of 3Q’s core values is most important to you, and why?
Act for the Greater Good – Because this value is about teamwork and helping people. An organization thrives because of its members, but if its people struggle from various stressors (such as being overworked), then the two fail each other. Helping to reduce the burden on others would reduce the chance of burn-out and raise morale. An organization is its people.
What has been your favorite perk item/activity?
I know it’s been said to death, but Thursday Lunch is my favorite perks activity. I love trying new foods.
What trips have you gone on/do you plan to go on with your unlimited PTO?
I went to London, and that was not the best idea in hindsight. Don’t get me wrong; London’s got a ton of history, and snarking about the French is literally a national pastime. I made sure to hit all the big spots like the Tower of London, Westminster Abbey, that pub that Charles Dickens went to, Wimbledon — and you really can’t leave England without taking a tour of the Ministry of Magic, right? Well, I should’ve skipped the last one because a pair of Death Eaters ambushed me as I left.
It was traumatizing, and I barely escaped with my life.
Would you rather fight 100 duck sized horses, or one horse sized duck?
I’ll fight the horse-sized duck. Because duck is delicious.
What is on your bucket list?
A lot of things, but making a tennis pilgrimage to all the Grand Slams is one. Also, seeing Roger Federer play at Wimbledon before he retires is one of my more immediate bucket list items Does that count as a bucket list item if there’s a time crunch?
What is your favorite thing to do outside of work?
Because I love cooking and eating delicious foods, one of my favorite things is heading to my neighborhood farmer’s market to buy seasonal fruits and vegetables.
