This is the subhead for the blog post
Take some time today to get to know Reid Gather, Account Coordinator at 3Q Digital working from our San Diego office.
What’s the first metric you check when you start the day?
What one quality do you think is most important in successful digital marketers today?
Measured skepticism. If you stay critical, you’ll be motivated to understand why things are happening, not just what is happening.
What is your favorite thing to brag about at 3Q?
Thursday lunch. I’m such a sucker for free food.
What does 3Q’s culture mean to you?
For me, 3Q culture means that we have the opportunity to create an environment at work that we want to come back to every day.
Which of 3Q’s core values is most important to you, and why?
Act for the greater good. I think that one person has the potential to change the tide. When you ‘act for the greater good’ and help someone else, that action can be infectious and spread to the other members of your team, to your clients, and to the company at large. We’re all better off when we act for the greater good.
If you had to switch offices, which office would you pick and why?
San Diego is the best office…why would anyone ever want to work anywhere else!?
What trips have you gone on/do you plan to go on with your unlimited PTO?
I was able to go to Nova Scotia for my friend’s wedding/camping adventure last September. That was pretty sweet!
Would you rather fight 100 duck sized horses, or one horse sized duck?
Ducks are aggressive, and a giant, horse-sized duck seems terrifying! We used to feed the ducks at the pond behind my grandma’s house, and I remember being hunted down by a particularly agitated mallard that ended up ripping my pants open with his razor-like beak as he greedily ate ALL of the bread in my pocket.
Hot dogs or hamburgers?
Both… and I’ll have seconds, please.
What is on your bucket list?
1. Surf trip to Portugal; 2. watch the U.S. Men’s Soccer team win a World Cup; 3. build a self-sufficient shipping container home somewhere on the coast in Mexico.
What is your favorite thing to do outside of work?
Activities. All kinds of activities.
