3Q View series – Women’s Alliance for Knowledge Exchange

Tech and marketing skills can make the world better for women in need of help. Join the latest installment of our 3Q View series to hear from an organization leveraging marketing expert to make the world safer for women.

Can digital marketing stop human trafficking? It just might have that power – and a guest speaker in our 3Q View series will explain how over free lunch in our San Francisco office  at 12 p.m. on March 9.

wakeWAKE International (Women’s Alliance for Knowledge Exchange)’s Tech2Empower initiative travels to third-world countries (next up: Cambodia in May) to provide NGOs tackling critical women’s issues with professional training, expert advising, and access to effective tools and technologies to help them spread word of their mission.

The Cambodia project is focused on helping NGOs prevent human trafficking. Advisors will help conduct interactive workshops for leaders of anti-trafficking NGOs and women and girls. Advisors will contribute to related volunteer projects and will meet with gender experts and local organizations to learn and share resources and information.3Q_View_logo
